Today, we have many persons with invisible disorders that do not file their taxes on time. Many do not file for several years. We understand these difficult times, individuals and families are utilizing food banks, thrift stores, and other social services to exist. By simply doing your taxes, many are eligible for the GST Credit, Ontario Trillium Benefit, and the Climate Action Incentive. These benefits are cheques that are mailed to your address or deposited into your bank accounts. Not to mention, several may be eligible for the Disability Tax Credit.
Cynthia Irving CPA conducts these clinics and is recommended by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA).

This is a non-refundable credit that can help many with invisible disabilities. They can help support their families, buy groceries, and may avoid being displaced by reducing the amount of income tax they pay.
Those with severe and prolonged disabilities may apply. If you successfully pass the test, you can be approved and claim these taxes at tax time.
The purpose of this credit is to offset the extra cost related to your disability.. The process is not easy, but we can start the process for you. Your doctor can advise you if you are eligible. We have helped some begin this process this year. We warn you, CRA is quite discerning regarding the DTC.
